The effects of CBD will vary for each individual depending on a myriad of factors including those specific to the individuals, quality of CBD, the amount taken and to lerance levels. The methods of consumption matters.Here's a breakdown of the type of CBD, the onset and how long the effects last.

Inhalation
The fastest way to experience CBD and other minor cannabinoids are done by "Smoking high-grade cannabis strain flowers or Vaping oil". It's often seen as an effective method of delivery, because of how quickly it's absorbed into the body. The effects you feel will set in almost immediately, and last about an hour or a bit longer.

Sublingual
CBD and other minor cannabinoids can also be consumed sublingually, by placing "a few drops of premium CBD Oil " under the tongue and keeping it there for 30 seconds to a minute before swallowing (best use case). This will allow the mucus membranes in your mouth to absorb CBD oil partially bypassing the digestive system and liver to quickly enter the bloodstream. You may feel effects within seconds to a half hour, and effects may last up to an hour or more. Adminerstering CBD oil directly under the tongue and holding for up to a minute is the quickest and easiest way to reap the full potential benefits.

Ingestion
One of the most common ways people consume CBD and other minor cannabinoids is by ingestion. Ingesting "Cannabis-infused edibles" will result in a longer onset of (up to two hours) and effects may last up to 4 - 8 hours - this also depends on the potency. When adminstering CBD oil directly into the mouth, swallowing the oil will prevent CBD from immediately entering your bloodstream, sending it instead through the digestive tract and eventually to the liver, where it is broken down before it enters the bloodstream. Studies show when CBD and other Cannabis compounds are metabolized by the liver, it undergoes what is called the "first pass effect," where enzymes in the liver reduce CBD and other minor cannabinoids concentration before the remainder is sent to the bloodstream and circulated throught the body.
